This visit will provide a wonderful experience for the students, and of course this comes at quite a price. To help subsidise the trip, a number of fundraising events are planned (e.g. students are currently planning their sponsored 'New York Swimathon', and on Friday March 7th there's the 'Big Apple Cheese and Wine Evening', with guest host Steve Leonard).
In addition to school-based fundraising, there's an opportunity for local businesses to get involved with sponsorship.

Any sponsorship from local businesses will be gratefully received, and acknowledged in press releases, in a special feature to be added right here on Go North Shropshire and on T-shirts that the students will be issued with when they leave.
