You'll always receive a warm welcome from Rob and Margaret Hewson who, alongside Val and David Reade, hold a charity fundraising tombola  every Friday in Whitchurch High Street.

In 2006, thanks to the generosity of Whitchurch people, we raised £7862 for local charities such as the Air Ambulance appeal and the Friends of Whitchurch Hospital.

We really appreciate your support, either as a visitor to our stall, or maybe you could donate unwanted items to the tombola?

Cancer Research UK launched in February 2002 following the merger of the Cancer Research Campaign and Imperial Cancer Research Fund.  We are now the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research, supporting more than 3000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Our Whitchurch shop is part of a network of 650 nationwide, where we aim to provide customers with quality  items new and second-hand, at a fair price.  We have tremendous support here in Whitchurch and are truly grateful for any saleable items that are donated to us.
